Russian design center ARTPLAY brought a multimedia exhibition «From Monet to Kandinski» to Bangkok
On April 25, 2019 the opening ceremony of the multimedia exhibition “From Monet to Kandinsky. Vision Alive” took place in the River City Bangkok Gallery. The exposition was created by the Russian design center Artplay. This project is being implemented in Asia for the first time.
The exhibition “From Monet to Kandinsky” is dedicated to the masters whose work made a real revolution in art. The masterpieces of Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Paul Gauguin, Gustav Klimt, Vincent Van Gogh, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edvard Munch, Wassily Kandinsky and Kazimir Malevich are presented as colorful projections on huge screens using audio-visual effects and the modern technologies. A total of 1,500 works from more than 20 world museums are shown.
Visitors can see the masterpieces of artists in details thanks to the new high-resolution cinema projectors. Reproductions of the paintings are displayed to the music of Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Ravel and Offenbach.
For the first time this project was carried out in Moscow in 2015. It was successfully held in Berlin and Paris in 2017.
The multimedia exhibition will run at River City Bangkok from April 26 to July 31, 2019.
