On the Ambassador's interview with Thai media outlet “Matichon Weekly”
In May 2025, the website of the Thai media outlet “Matichon Weekly” published an interview of H.E. Mr. Evgeny Tomikhin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Thailand, to correspondent Ms. Chanadda Jinayodhin in two parts.
The interview was dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The Ambassador emphasized the decisive role of the Soviet Union in the defeat of nazi Germany and its satellites, drew attention to attempts to falsify history, and stressed the importance of preserving historical memory and passing it on to future generations.
