On July 13, 2019 Mr. Valerii Shibaev, a seriously ill Russian citizen, was evacuated by a medical escort of the Russian Health Ministry Disaster Medical Centre “Zashchita”, by Aeroflot flight to Moscow. The Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Thailand provided necessary support to the medical staff in preparing and carrying out the medical transportation of the patient.

The Embassy would like to express its deep gratitude to the management
of the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, where Mr. Valerii Shibaev underwent his treatment, for assisting in settlement of the hospital bill, to the Samitivej Clinic of the Suvarbabhumi International Airport for providing transportation and boarding logistics, as well as to Russian volunteers, residing in Pattaya City.

We wish Mr. Valerii the soonest recovery.
