On 11 October 2018, H.E. Mr. Kirill Barsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to UN ESCAP took part in the 378th session of the Advisory Committee of Permanent Representatives and Other Representatives.

In view of the forthcoming completion of his duties in Bangkok Mr. Kirill Barsky addressed the Committee members with a farewell speech. He emphasized the role of Russia in promoting cooperation under the auspices of the Commission and commitment of our country to enhanced multilateral efforts aimed at the solution of pressing socio-economic problems in the region and implementation of the Agenda-2030 in Asia and the Pacific.

The Committee members warmly thanked Mr. Kirill Barsky for his tangible contribution to the work of the Commission appraising in particular endeavors of the Russian Federation in pursuance of constructive intergovernmental cooperation in the region based on the principles of multilateral partnership.
