On January 26, 2018 H.E. Mr. Kirill Barsky attended the ceremony on the UN International Holocaust Memorial Day organized at the UNESCAP headquarters.

This commemorative date falls on 27 January – day of liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp by the Soviet troops. 

The participants of the event paid tribute to the memory of victims of the unprecedented genocide of the Jews in the world history that was waged by the Nazi Germany and confirmed readiness of the international community to spare no effort for elimination of all forms of racial discrimination, xenophobia and prevention of glorification of Nazism.
