Young dancers of “Rosinka” International Russian Ballet School performed gala concert in Pattaya

On June 9, 2018 “Rosinka” young dancers trained by Ms. Ekaterina Benderskaya, artistic director of this ballet academy, performed a stunning gala concert at the stage of the ISE International School in Pattaya. Their performance indicated a high level of the artistic level of the students which has substantially increased for the last several years. Their continuing flight to new heights was aptly reflected in the image of an ascending aircraft on the backdrop and a motto of the concert – “Following the Dream”.

The kids demonstrated a marvelous new program including highly professional ballet numbers and contemporary dance compositions as well as their old hits. The dancers were cheered by their teachers, parents and other guests. Many of them were Russian citizens living in Pattaya. H.E. Mr. Kirill Barsky, Russian Ambassador to Thailand and his spouse were among those attending the concert.

The “Rosinka” International Russian Ballet School was opened only seven years ago, but it has already achieved incredible results and has become a true “trade mark” of the Russian art and culture in Thailand. Today the “Rosinka” has more than 50 students from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, US, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Spain, Italy, Norway, Finland and of course Thailand. Their successful participation in numerous international dance competitions and their performance at public concerts in Bangkok earned admiration of thousands of spectators and appraisal of serious experts. Besides the main platform the “Rosinka” has set up two branches in Pattaya – at the American ISE International School and at the British St. Andrew’s International School as well as a ballet studio at the “Seven Flowers” Children Center.

Thai girls from another famous dance school – Bangkok’s “Katyusha” Folk Dance Ensemble headed by Mrs. Ekaterina Alekseeva – came down to Pattaya to extend congratulations to their friends. The concert culminated in a mob dance on the stage gladly joined by the excited audience who welcomed the “Rosinka” students and their teachers with a thunderstorm of applause and an ocean of flowers.
